Last weekend was a busy one for our family!
On Saturday, we participated in “Street Meet” ~ a 3K run/walk to raise money for an organization in Calgary called “Ups and Downs”, who have helped us a lot on our journey so far with Jake. It was such a great day! We got to see lots of other people we knew, we got to hang out with a bunch of our family members who were able to go on the walk with us, and we won a Keurig coffee maker!
For me, the most significant part of the day was just feeling the love and support of our families, and feeling very blessed and content with our lives. Now, we did get a couple great photos, but here’s one thing you should know about Curtis and I…neither of us are good at taking the initiative to make sure we take pictures! So, he thought I was taking lots, and I thought he was taking lots! Consequently, we missed out on some good photo opps…including a group shot. But, here are some good ones!
Sunday was Father’s Day, and we had a jam-packed day of church, BBQ, and celebration! I wanted to post the pictures that Jake and I took to give to Curtis for his Father’s Day present…we put them in a frame, and he is going to hang it up in his office. They are pretty dang cute! That’s all for now…
