Swimming and Sickness…

14 Nov

First, some pictures from our swimming class!  Jake continues to love water therapy, and as he gets older I feel like he takes in more of what is going on.  And it is nice for me to see familiar faces, both the babes and their mothers.  Nice to know that I’m not in this alone.  And the swimava ( is such a huge help for him, because it frees up his arms and his legs, and this lets him work harder while he’s in the water (plus, he looks super cute when he’s in it…look at how chubby his already-chubby cheeks look!).

And, we’re sick…
It’s the first time Jake has been sick though, and he’ll be 6 months old tomorrow (holy cow!!), so I guess we’ve done pretty good so far.  It is so sad to see my little sickie though.  He is miserable…

Oh, and I wanted to post one more picture too.  This is by far Jake’s favorite toy right now.  It is called an “O-Ball”, and is such a great idea.  He can get his tiny little fingers around the holes so easily, and he holds on for dear life and just tries to eat it mercilessly!

That’s all for this week, since I hear him waking up from his nap!  Stay tuned for more…

Oh my, Jake is just the cutest baby every (well maybe besides Ben:))!! We just started water therapy too and Ben has a very similar ball that he loves. I think because it is so easy to hold. And I hope he’s feeling better soon!
